Moms, r u okay?!

Watch this unedited hour long convo or a five minute clip and share your solicited thoughts on Mom culture below!

Loved this conversation with Liz and could have talked for thirty more hours—give or take. If you aren’t sure you have an hour, below is a FIVE MINUTE CLIP that might get you excited to join the conversation. My friend Liz and I love talking about our parental peer group and how our parenting experience is impacted by the world around us. We are so curious to hear from you all and share our own personal observations. It’s an ongoing conversation that I am so curious about. My husband Matt may even say that my generation’s mom culture is my current Roman Empire.

Whether you are younger than me, not a parent, or you are older and wiser, I’d be so intrigued to know your observations on how my generation of Moms are approaching motherhood in 2025. (I am 42 years old and have three young kiddos.)

Also, if you DO watch the whole conversation, the book I reference a few times on the topic of how our brain captures negative memories versus positive memories was by an author I represent, Joy Prouty, and the book is called Practicing Presence. (A beautiful and profound Mother’s Day gift for yourself or a mom in your life!)

We will be going LIVE again this Friday, April 18th at 9am PST / 12pm EST / 6pm Paris time. Continuing this topic from a different angle, we will discuss what we heard from many of you regarding finances and what you feel like would be “enough” to alleviate some of the burdens parents are feeling right now. Is there a monetary amount that would put you at ease? You can send me a private message and tell us what would be enough for your family, and of course we won’t share your name. We are super curious to know what those numbers would be for our fellow parents.

Love,

Joy
